Dent, I thought I would not because everyone has the time or inclination to go through all these pieces, if it is truly interested in buying a can, usually suited to implement the first part of the Good . I am making available detailed, that my conclusions will support the evaluation section. Evaluation ---------- This is esentially, HP Officejet 8500 All-In-One printer with additional paper tray, 3 extra cartridges and some promotional material. The unit I tested is not the extra paper tray. The evaluation unit meets the requirement that there is an all-in-one solution. Although it is unlikely that a single user would be to take full advantage of their functions at regular intervals, it is reassuring to know that the capabilities are present. The included software and the printer interface console itself that an amount of flexibility and customization tremenduous Some of the more advanced features will be an above average level of computer savvy, but without much modification, it will be a useful, decent print / fax / copy to / scanning device. Although the superior print quality make this printer would be a good candidate 'small office', it would probably reject the rate as a small office was doing a significant amount of the printing press. I provided some personal benchmarks for each potential buyer could decide to small businesses. If a home printer, it comes as close to perfect as they come. I use it as a printer at home, so my rating is not interpreted in this context. A note on minors 'design'. I found it interesting that some of the features available on the touch screen buttons are duplicated in the physical console of the printer. This was surprising because I actually saw this model on sale in the New York Fifth Avenue Apple store. Immediately it struck me that an Apple designer had none of the buttons if allowed to redesign the product. This is not a criticism, just an observation, also motivated by the fact that, for example, specifying the number of copies to print, I could not use the physical keyboard, but had to punch the number on the virtual keyboard displayed on the touch screen screen. The quake strong, almost violent, when the printer is not perfectly stable on a surface was a little unsettling to me. I have little doubt that it is not loaded, the printer quickly lose their alignment of the print head and may even have technical problems. Finally, I am pleased that HP tech support solved my problem with Vista, but it would be better if a printer that produced only a few days before I received was a CD or updated, at least, a leaflet advising users how you get Vista, considering all the above updated driver, the printer receives a strong, very positive to 4 stars. But my sense is that the Officejet Pro is basically a 'home' or 'home office' units, the printer is not a "small business". As such, I see no advantage to buying 'model instead of "Premier a tray', cheaper version.
